HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Rocco leads Monomoy boys basketball past Cape Tech
Jackson Rocco led the offensive effort for the Monomoy High boys basketball team in a 75-48 win over Cape Tech on Friday.
The sophomore finished with three 3-pointers and 19 points in the victory. Sophomore Captain Finn Hyora finished with 14, and Zach Martin also finished in double figures with 10.

Jacob Routhier drained three 3-pointers to finish with 9 points and seniors Michael Desir and Jeff Kimball were defensive standouts.
Cape Tech drops to 1-1.

Boys basketball
New Mission 57, Barnstable 48: The Red Hawks drop to 1-2 after losing to New Mission.
Bourne 81, Case 63: Bourne improves to 1-1 on the season after beating Case.
Girls basketball
Mashpee 60, Hull 46: Hialeah Turner Foster finished with 18 points to lead the Falcons (2-0) to the win over Hull. Amiyah Peter dropped 14 in the win, and Stella Stecei added 10.
Cape Tech 35, Falmouth Academy 9: Captain Jada Miranda put up 19 points to lead the Crusaders (2-1) to their second win of the season. Falmouth Academy drops to 1-2.
Brockton 54, Barnstable 42: The Red Hawks were beaten by Brockton and are now 1-2.
Case 71, Bourne 56: Jill Allen scored a career-high 24 points in the loss.
