HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Hanna lifts Hanover boys hockey to big win over Scituate
Entering Saturday's game, the Hanover and Scituate High boys hockey team were two of the top teams in the Patriot League Fisher Division.
The game lived up the billing as the Hawks prevailed with a 4-3 win in overtime thanks to the winning goal from Robbie Hanna.
Hanna and Mikey Munroe scored both goals for Hanover. Jack Watson, Hanna and Max DaSilva had assists for Hanover.

Danny Brown and James Sullivan had first-period goals to stake the Sailors to a 2-1 lead early.

BOYS HOCKEY
Marshfield 2, Duxbury 0: Sophomores Cam McGettrick and Will Doherty each scored a goal apiece while Brady Quackenbush recorded the shutout in net. Sam Mazanec made 27 saves in the loss.
Cohasset/Hull 7, Cardinal Spellman 1: Luke Mullen and Matt Mahoney (assist) scored two goals apiece in the win. Evan Dunham handed out three assists.
Dennis-Yarmouth 4, Rockland 1: The Bulldogs dropped the non-league game.
Dartmouth 5, Stoughton/Brockton 0: Brady Pettinato played well in defeat.
Whitman-Hanson 6, Attleboro 0: Matt Solari scored two goals while Bobby Hunter had his fourth goal in five games as the Panthers rolled on senior night. Zakk Spano, Alex Ethier and Cam Murray (first varsity goal) tallied the other goals.
Milton 8, Newton North 0: Jimmy Fallon tallied three goals to lead the Wildcats.
Newton South 1, Bridgewater-Raynham 0: The Trojans dropped the non-league game.
Braintree 5, Weymouth 2: The Wamps (13-3-1, 11-0-1) remained undefeated in the Bay State Conference thanks to goals from five different scorers (Nicholas Fasano, Charlie Dimartino, Nolan Leonard, Owen Flynn, Colin Gaffney)
Sandwich 4, Pembroke 2: Anthony Birolini scored his 15th goal of the season and sophomore Ryan Bradley had his first varsity goal in the loss.
Plymouth North 4, Quincy 3 (OT): Kevin Norwood scored the winning goal in overtime and added an assist.
Foxboro 5, Blue Hills 0: The Warriors dropped the non-league game.
West Bridgewater/East Bridgewater 1, Taunton 1: WEB earned a non-league tie.
GIRLS HOCKEY
Milton 1, Newton North/Newton South 0: Lila Chamoun recorded 25 saves in a shutout effort and Brenna Walsh scored the lone goal.
Hanover 2, Plymouth 1: The Hawks won the Patriot League game.
Notre Dame Academy 4, Boston Latin 0: Morgan Brady scored two goals while Maggie Donahue and Sarah White had solo tallies.
Weymouth 6, Braintree 3: The Wildcats won the Bay State Conference game.
Marshfield 2, Hingham 1: The Rams pulled off the upset as freshman Gabby Reardon and Anna Sullivan tallied their first varsity goals. Morgan Murphy, an eighth-grader, recorded her first varsity victory in net.
Duxbury 3, Whitman-Hanson/Silver Lake 1: Ayla Abban became the eighth player in Duxbury history to score 100 career points.
Pembroke 7, Scituate 2: Pembroke's Meg Dorsey became the sixth Titan to reach the 100-point mark.
Quincy/North Quincy 7, Stoughton 0: Maggie Lynch tallied four goals to become the program's all-time leading scorer.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Abington 64, North Quincy 61: Antwonne Graham Jr. (19 points), Tommy Fanara (18) and Jeremiah Ismeus (12 points, 10 rebounds) led the Green Wave (11-4) to the win. Graham and Mike Van Luling had big free throws late. Cam Downey (15 points), Gianni Perea (14), Jacob Briggs (12) and Jalen Moore (10) were all in double digits in the loss for the Sachems (12-6).
Randolph 81, Boston English 46: Stevens Joacine scored a career-high 31 points for the Blue Devils (13-1). Camden Rainford added 11.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Middleboro 50, Abington 41: Alexandra Williams scored a game-high 20 points for the Sachems (10-8). Lila Peddie (11 points) and Riley Griffin (7) also chipped in. Ella Williamson led the way in the loss for the Green Wave with 17 points. Rebecca Rix (9 points, 14 rebounds) and Liv Maguire (9 points, 10 rebounds) were each a point shy of double-doubles.
Norwell 73, Chicopee 56: Grace Oliver scored 27 points to lead the Clippers while Chloe Richardson (16 points) and Maddie Oliver (14) were also in double digits.
Bridgewater-Raynham 52, Westford Academy 30: Natalia Hall-Rosa (17 points, 7 rebounds) and Dana Possick (9 points) led the way for the Trojans (12-4).
