"Love Is Blind" Star Zack Goytowski Reacted To That Cringe-Inducing Singing Moment In The Pods
Warning: Major Love Is Blind Season 4 spoilers ahead.
Love Is Blind Season 4 may have released a new batch of episodes, but there's a chance you're still thinking about one haunting moment from the pods.
I am, of course, referring to five words spoken by Zack before proposing to Irina: "I wrote you a song."
Yes, Zack's pod-themed serenade has been rattling around my brain for, given that I saw early previews of the show, literal weeks now.
But what if I was to tell you that fans more eagle-eyed than I have noticed that Zack didn't actually write the ballad? That it's actually a 2004 song called "Sara's Song" by a group named Ludo?
...Because yeah, that's what happened.
However, Zack clarified on his Instagram that he did credit Ludo initially and that the tune was his "favorite song" of theirs.
Also, on the editing room floor was Zack's rendition of THE ENTIRE SONG.
In fact, there were other singing moments we did not see!
@annacatkopsky I sang a lot of Ludo in the pods. I may or may not have also sang love me dead at a bar in Mexico 🇲🇽
The band did then clarify that the show got their permission to use the song and added in a statement to People, "We were happy to clear the songs. They used 'Sara's Song' of ours which is a pretty obscure track from our very first album that we released ourselves 20 years ago."
So many of you sending this our way. Thank you! Yes, we know and the show got our permission. Glad to know you guys are looking out for us! https://t.co/fQUWlzEnHF
