Henderson County middle school runners compete in state cross country championships
More than 45 middle school runners from Henderson County competed in the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association’s Meet of Champions on Oct. 16 at the Bourbon County Park in Paris.
As part of the Meet of Champions, runners from North, South and Holy Name ran in the middle school state championship meet.
South’s boys finished 15th out of 55 teams in the boys team standings, while South’s girls were 26th out of 46 teams in the girls standings.
South also had runners compete in the open middle school races.
