Halloween freebies 2020: 12 places where you can get free candy, meals, and cocktails

Several national restaurants are serving up deals and freebies as part of a consolation for Halloween traditions looking vastly different in 2020 amid a pandemic.

As part of a socially distanced holiday celebration, some offers can be redeemed from home and don’t even require you to don a costume. Here are some of the deals.

Applebee’s

When: October 30 - November 1

The deal: For those 21 and over, Applebee’s restaurants are offering $5 Halloween-themed cocktails like Dracula’s Juice and Tipsy Zombie.

When: October 31

The deal: Stop by any Blaze Pizza restaurant after 4 pm on Halloween and get a free full-sized Crunch bar.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

When: October 31

The deal: Kids eat free on Halloween with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Chipotle

When: October 31

The deal: Follow Chipotle on social media to receive an offer code for a buy-one, get-one-free entrée item. Codes can be redeemed through Chipotle’s app or online.

The deal: Guests who arrive in costume through the drive-thru will receive a free four-piece order of Monsterella Stix with any purchase.

When: October 30 and October 31

The deal: Kids under 12 will receive a free Mr. Mummy pancake either in-person or online for orders greater than $20 using code ‘FREEMUMMY’ checkout.
