Green's Zack Oddo and Mark Kinsley lead All-Federal League boys basketball honors
The Green Bulldogs swept the top Federal League boys basketball awards with Zack Oddo earning Player of the Year and Mark Kinsley earning Coach of the Year as the all-league teams were announced Monday.
The awards and all-league teams are decided by a vote of the league's coaches.
A 6-foot-6 senior, Oddo led the Bulldogs to their second outright league championship in three years, going 10-2 in league play. The Walsh University recruit leads Green in scoring (15.8) and rebounding (6.8). He also is second in total assists (52) as he serves as the team’s go-to ball-handler and second in field goal percentage (48.3) and 3-point percentage (39.8).
Oddo recently surpassed 1,000 career points.
Kinsley is the Coach of the Year for the second time in three years and the third time in five years. Green is 23-2 and just won its second district championship in four years. The Bulldogs face Hoban in Wednesday’s 7 p.m. Division I regional semifinal at Copley High School.
