Four Richland County boys basketball players earn All-Ohio honors in Division II
COLUMBUS — The postseason award season couldn't have gone better for Shelby junior Alex Bruskotter.
After earning first team All-Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference, MOAC Player of the Year, first team All-District 6, District 6 Player of the Year and first team All-Northwest District, the super-talented junior capped it all off with a second team All-Ohio honor as announced by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. Bruskotter averaged 22 points, nine rebounds 4.9 assists and 1.8 steals a game for the Whippets as he helped them four-peat as MOAC champions.
Bruskotter highlights four Richland County boys basketball players who took home Division II All-Ohio honors. Lexington's Baden Forup was a third team selection after scoring 15 points and adding nine rebounds a game while Lexington freshman Brayden Fogle earned special mention All-Ohio honors after scoring 13 points and adding seven rebounds and two assists a night in just his first varsity season.
Mansfield Senior's Kyevi Roane was an honorable mention selection after scoring 15 points and adding eight rebounds and two assists a game for the Tygers.
