Former Peoria Notre Dame basketball star transfers into the Big Ten Conference
Noah Reynolds has found a new home in the Big Ten Conference.
The former Peoria Notre Dame all-stater announced via social media on Wednesday night that he will play college basketball at Wisconsin. Reynolds spent the last two seasons at Wyoming, averaging 14.5 points a game in 19 games as a sophomore.

As a PND junior, the 6-foot-3 guard was named the 2020 Journal Star Boys Basketball Player of the Year. He averaged 16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals, shooting 61.5 percent from the field, and 41.7 percent from 3-point land as the top-ranked Irish’s historic 30-1 season was halted by the pandemic.
As a senior, Reynolds averaged 15.3 points per game to go along with 6.3 assists to lead the Peoria area. He also added 5.6 rebounds per game and 2.2 steals as PND went 14-1 in a pandemic-shortened season with no IHSA postseason.
Wisconsin was looking to add "more scoring punch and versatility," according to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and has found help in Reynolds, who Potrykus says "should provide the team with another consistent scoring threat" after the loss of guard Jordan Davis.
Wisconsin is set to return all five starters and bring in four freshmen, with three of those good enough to play early, according to Potrykus.
