Former Chaparral QB Jack Miller heading to Florida to play for Gators
Former Scottsdale Chaparral quarterback Jack Miller is heading to the college his mentor starred at.
Miller, who transferred from Ohio State, announced on social media Tuesday that he's headed to Florida to play for the Gators.
In grade school, Miller was mentored by former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. Tebow became a family friend after his visits to Scottsdale to play in the Fiesta Bowl, staying at the Princess Resort, which Miller's father, Jack, runs.

Tebow worked with Miller, helping develop his quarterback skills, before he took off in high school at Scottsdale Christian his freshman year and at Chaparral his last three seasons.
Miller will have three years eligibility with the Gators.
