A Flood Watch has been issued for all of northern Ohio from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Friday.

Warm temperatures with high winds from the south will melt much, if not all, of the heavy snow pack across northern Ohio, and that combined with heavy rain Thursday could spell trouble.

The warm up begins on Wednesday and with it some pretty gusty winds. The rain will begin to fall Wednesday night, and it will be heavy at times on Thursday.

The weather service says all the ingredients are in place for potential flooding in low-lying areas and along streams and rivers particularly if ice jams form. A flood watch has been issued for region from 7 p.m. Wednesday through 1 a.m. Friday.
