There’s a new flavor of SpaghettiOs — and it’s not for kids. What to know
SpaghettiOs is rolling out a new flavor with millennials in mind.
The new Spicy Original SpaghettiOs featuring Frank’s RedHot sauce is a “grown-up” twist on the childhood favorite, Campbell’s announced in a news release.
Campbell’s teamed up with the popular hot sauce brand to cater to adults who grew up eating the canned soup and pasta, but now want a bit of kick for their mature palettes. The new flavor arrived in stores on April 4 and offers fans a punch of mild-medium heat.
Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Hot Sauce lands relatively low on the overall spiciness scale, at about 450 in Scoville heat units, CBS News reported.
A can will cost you $1.59, plus tax, the release said.
News of the spicy, new flavor prompted a variety of reactions online.
