Ellsworth native Kaden Davis signs with Denver Broncos as a priority free agent
A 2017 graduate of Ellsworth High School is getting his shot in the National Football League.
After being undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, Kaden Davis signed a free-agent contract with the Denver Broncos on Saturday night.
Davis spent the past three seasons at NCAA Division II powerhouse Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Missouri. He helped the Bearcats to two postseason appearances.

Davis earned All-MIAA honorable mention at wide receiver for the Bearcats last fall. He led the Bearcats with 44 receptions for 714 yards and 10 touchdowns. Davis had two 100-yard receiving games in a Bearcat uniform both coming last fall against Central Missouri (103) and Missouri Southern (102).

Prior to Northwest Missouri State, Davis played two seasons at Butler Community College in El Dorado. In two years with the Grizzlies, Davis had 21 receptions for 245 yards and a touchdown. He was a part of the Grizzlies in 2018 when they won the Midwest Classic Bowl on Dec. 2, 2018, 34-30 over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
