'Elf' movie pop-up returns to Lost Whale cocktail bar

Starting Dec. 6 Lost Whale will treat every day like Christmas with an "Elf" pop-up bar, featuring décor and themed-drinks inspired by the popular movie starring Will Farrell and Zooey Deschanel.

This is the second year the Bay View cocktail bar will be hosting the pop-up, which will run until Dec. 31.

As in scenes from the movie, Lost Whale will be decorated with hand-cut paper snowflakes and Christmas lights, and a model train will be suspended from the ceiling.

Lost Whale's "Elf" pop-up bar features themed cocktails such as "Not now Artic Puffin," with Central Standard North 40 brandy, Korbel brandy, Creme de Menthe, Creme de Cacao, house coconut blend, Bittercube orange bitters, house-made whipped cream, fudge Pop-Tart, and candy cane garnish.
