Drew Mouton out as director of Shreveport Office of Economic Development

According to a press release from his attorney, Drew Mouton is no longer the Director of Shreveport's Office of Economic Development.

Mouton claims he was informed Friday that his employment with the City of Shreveport was terminated because of allegations made against him which he contends are false and defamatory. The release did not specify the nature of the allegations.

Mouton says he was never provided with the details of these allegations nor was he provided with a full and fair opportunity to defend against the allegations.

Mouton had served in that position since 2021.
