Severe Tropical Storm Nalgae hit the Philippines on Saturday, October 29, leaving at least 45 people dead, according to local news reports.
The storm hit Bay Laguna and the area near Manila on Saturday, bringing heavy rainfall and powerful wind, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA-DOST)
Videos posted by Marga Alagabia, which she said were taken in Bay Laguna on Saturday, show floodwater rising in a home. Alagabia said that they decided to evacuate as the water was waist-deep in the house.
