Get DashPass for ‘Free’ with Chase ($96 Value)

DashPass is DoorDash’s premium membership tier that provides members with reduced service fees, $0 delivery fees, and special discounts and offers with eligible merchants on the food delivery apps DoorDash and Caviar. DashPass members save an average of $5 or more on every eligible purchase, and there are many ways to get the premium membership for free if you are a Chase cardholder, such as with a Chase Sapphire or Chase Freedom® card.

If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® card, you can also receive a $5 credit to use in DoorDash each month, and you can roll over these credits for up to two months into the future. That means that up to $15 in credit can be accrued before a $5 credit expires.

To activate the free DashPass subscription, you must use a qualifying Chase card as the default payment in your active DoorDash account. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

If you hold both a Chase Sapphire and Chase Freedom card, including Chase Freedom FlexSM or Chase Freedom Unlimited®, prioritize using the Chase Sapphire card as the default payment in DoorDash to activate the free DashPass membership since it will have a longer free membership promotional period — one year. Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Flex, and Chase Freedom Unlimited cardholders can get free DashPass for three months after activating the promotion.

All of the combined points can be used for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards® at a rate of 1.25 cents per point for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® or 1.5 cents per point for the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

Chase Sapphire points can also be transferred to purchase travel through the following airline and hotel programs:
