This spring, the University of Miami picked a neuroscientist, a political analyst, a lawyer, a journalist, a pediatrician and two entrepreneurs as its commencement speakers.
The seven scholars will forever mark the lives of the more than 4,100 new graduates who will move their tassels and collect their degrees this weekend. To learn more about the speakers, click here.
UM is the largest private university in South Florida with about 20,000 students. Graduation ceremonies kicked off Thursday and will run through Saturday.
