The Sheriff's Office's Facebook post about Cops:
"Sheriff Chad McBride and the men and women of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office are proud to announce that our agency has been chosen by the COPS television show for their 35th season! Filming will begin at the end of this month and will last for 10-12 weeks. The shows featuring Anderson County will be released in the spring or summer of 2023.
"COPS airs on Fox Nation (which is the streaming service of Fox News), Pluto, Roku and Redbox. COPS have become documentary partners with local and state law enforcement agencies across not only the United States, but internationally for over 30 years. COPS is one of the longest-running television programs in the United States and their reputation for building strong, creative, and respectful working relationships with law enforcement agencies has helped establish COPS as one of the most realistic series focusing on the daily activities of law enforcement personnel.
"We are excited for the opportunity to show you, and the world, what it’s like to be a Sheriff’s Deputy in Anderson County."
