Darlington Nagbe is an MLS All-Star.
The Crew midfielder was selected to the 2022 MLS All-Star game Tuesday and will be one of 26 players who will face the best of Liga MX, the top division in Mexico, at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Aug. 10.
Nagbe is the 25th player in Crew history to be named as an MLS All-Star, and was the only player from the team selected for this year's game.
The 26-player roster was determined through a combination of fan, player and media votes, along with picks from All-Star coach Adrian Heath, the coach of Minnesota United FC, and MLS commissioner Don Garber.
Crew midfielder Lucas Zelarayan was the team's only representative in the 2021 MLS All-Star Game.

Darlington Nagbe has championship experience in the MLS
Nagbe is the only player on the All-Star game roster to win three MLS Cups, with the Portland Timbers, Atlanta United and the Crew, where he also helped the team earn a Campeones Cup in 2021.
This year, Nagbe is tied for third on the team with forward Erik Hurtado with three goals. His 92.3% pass completion percentage is the highest among players who have played at least 1,000 minutes this season.
Since 2020, Nagbe has a pass completion percentage of 93.8%, the highest in the league during that span.
Nagbe was acquired by the Crew before the 2020 season and is currently playing in his 12th MLS season at age 31 out of Monrovia, Liberia.
