What it's about: The author of “It Starts With Us” and the author of “The Wives” team up for an original romantic thriller. Charlize Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends forever and in love since they were 14. But when every memory of their romance vanishes, they work to uncover the mystery of what’s happened to them, and begin to question why they were ever together.

The buzz: We were fans of two of Fisher's recent novels, "The Wives" and "The Wrong Family," calling the latter "the perfect book for readers when one shocking plot twist is not nearly enough" in a ★★★½ (out of four) review.

What it's about: From the creator of the podcast “Noble Blood” comes a sequel to “Anatomy: A Love Story,” a sumptuously gothic romance about a young woman in Georgian-era Edinburgh studying to become a surgeon. Part two finds Hazel Sinnett at British court, the personal physician of Princess Charlotte, the sickly granddaughter of King George III.

The buzz: "Risky adventures and new characters ... combine with Hazel’s compelling tale in a story that feels like an inevitable step toward book 3," says Booklist.

'Win Every Argument: The Art of Debating, Persuading, and Public Speaking'

What it's about: The journalist and host of MSNBC's "The Mehdi Hasan Show" writes this sharp guidebook on confident communication and productive debate, sharing the tricks of his often argumentative trade.

The buzz: "Readers will be won over by this perceptive guide," says a starred review in Publishers Weekly.

'Enchantment: Awakening Wonder in an Anxious Age'

By Katherine May (Riverhead, nonfiction)

What it's about: The author of "Wintering" writes an invitation to break out of fearful feelings of anxiety and burnout to rediscover feelings of awe and wonder by reconnecting with our environments.

The buzz: "May’s pursuit of enchantment will resonate with anyone feeling burned out or disconnected," says Kirkus Reviews.

'Stars in an Italian Sky'

By Jill Santopolo (Putnam, fiction)

What it's about: Twenty-one-year-old Vincenzo and Giovanna, the son of a count and daughter of a tailor, fall in love at first sight in post-WWII Italy. But can their love survive opposing families in a fraught political climate?

The buzz: Kirkus Reviews calls it "a romantic, sweeping story that’s satisfying and heartbreaking at the same time."
