Coincidence or destiny? Childhood photo shows Bijan Robinson in No. 8 Falcons jersey
A family photo of Bijan Robinson shared on Twitter shows the newly drafted Atlanta Falcon wearing a jersey with the same mascot as a child.
The image, posted by the Longhorn Network and credited to the Robinson family, shows a young Robinson walking into the stands with his helmet off. In small print on the front of the jersey reads the team name: Falcons.
Not only is Robinson wearing a jersey for a youth team that shared a name with his future NFL team, he's also wearing the number eight. The Texas running back was taken eight overall in the draft by the Falcons Thursday.

Bijan Robinson has worn No. 5 because Reggie Bush was his favorite football player
Robinson didn't always wear No. 8. He's worn the No. 5 for a long time, with his favorite player growing up being Reggie Bush.
