CHSAA all-state softball teams announced, Pueblo scores two plus honorable mentions
The Colorado High School Activities Association all-state high school softball teams were announced and two of Pueblo’s athletes made the all-state team, while several of Pueblo-area players were mentioned on the list.
In the Class 4A section, Pueblo South had two members make the all-state team. Emily Abraham, junior, was selected first-team all-state for her pitching performance this year, with a record of 22-3.
Abi Lucas, senior, was named to the second-team all-state selection as an infielder for her play this year both at the plate with a .375 batting average and on the field with a .915 fielding percentage.

Albanie Cordova, sophomore, and Marissa Keck, junior, of South were named to the honorable mentions list this year. Both players finished in the top 10 in batting average for the South-Central league.

Pueblo Central’s Savannah Autobee, senior, and Pueblo East’s Mariah Gonzales, junior, were also named to the honorable mention’s list for their efforts in the 2021 season. They were second and third respectively in batting average overall in the S-CL.
