Getting coffee just got more rewarding! When activated by August 31, 2022, Chase cardholders can take advantage of the offer to earn up to 10x total points on Starbucks transactions when they use an eligible Chase card to pay via the Starbucks app or online, up to $500 in total purchases.
The Starbucks up to 10x points bonus offer applies to two cards: Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Chase Sapphire Preferred®. For every dollar spent, you earn 10 points. Activate the offer now by linking your accounts.

The promotion does not apply to any purchases made on a qualifying card prior to activation, so be sure to register your card before making a Starbucks purchase. Additionally, the promotion does not apply to purchases made at the Starbucks register, so make sure you place your order through the app or online.
Plus, you can only activate one card with this offer, so if you have both a Preferred and Reserve card from Chase, choose which you want to gain the bonus points on.
One of the best ways to use Chase Ultimate Rewards® points is to convert cash back earned on Chase Freedom Unlimited® or Chase Freedom Flex℠ cards to points and then transfer them to your Chase Sapphire account. From the Chase Sapphire account, you can use the points in Ultimate Rewards or transfer points to a variety of airline and hotel partners, including:
Air Canada Aeroplan
Air France-KLM Flying Blue
British Airways Executive Club
Emirates Skywards
Iberia Plus
JetBlue TrueBlue
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer
Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards®
United MileagePlus®
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
World of Hyatt®
Without a Chase Sapphire account, your cash back on the Chase Freedom Flex and Chase Freedom Unlimited cards gives you one point per cent, which is a lower redemption than you may receive in the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal and through most Chase transfer partners.
If you are able to maximize this promotion and earn 10x points on $500, you will earn 5,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points, which could earn you a free hotel night when transferring points to various Hyatt properties, including:
Hyatt House Houston/Galleria, Texas
Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, New Mexico
Hyatt Place Atlanta Norcross, Georgia
Hyatt Place Provo, Utah
Hyatt Regency Mérida, Mexico
Hyatt Centric Campestre León, Mexico
Alila Manggis Bali, Indonesia
Grand Hyatt Bali, Indonesia

Why We Like It
Why We Like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card
Right off the bat, Chase Sapphire Reserve features a $300 annual credit for travel purchases. That means the annual fee is effectively just $250 per year for frequent travelers. You also get free access to more than 1,300+ Priority Pass lounges and restaurant options around the world. Those lounges usually give you free food and drinks, cleaner bathrooms, fast internet and a comfortable place to sit outside of the ruckus of an airport terminal. Plus, the Sapphire Reserve will get you access to the upcoming Chase Sapphire Lounge network.
If you’re looking to elevate your travel experience, look no further than the Chase Sapphire Reserve. When you first get approved, you’ll earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 in the first three months — that’s worth $900 in travel booked through Chase Ultimate Rewards and potentially more if you transfer your rewards to one of Chase’s airline or hotel partners.
