Carlsbad man wounded in Thursday shooting as police seek possible suspects
Carlsbad police sought two alleged suspects after a wounded man was discovered by officers Thursday, according to Eddy County CrimeStoppers.
Police responded to a shots fired call in the 1800 block of West Tansill and noticed the man was shot in the head, per a CrimeStoppers Facebook post.
The victim’s name was not released by the Carlsbad Police Department or CrimeStoppers. The person was transported to Carlsbad Medical Center for medical treatment, per a CrimeStoppers Facebook post.

Carlsbad police did not have any information on the man’s condition.
Two individuals were allegedly witnessed driving away from the crime scene in a 2013 Black Ford Taurus, read the Facebook post.
Anyone with information on the shooting could be awarded $500 to $2,500 if an arrest is made.
