Boston Red Sox game, Northern Trust finale in New York postponed by Tropical Storm Henri
Tropical Storm Henri is threatening parts of the East Coast with up to 10 inches of rain and causing postponements of sporting events in the area.
The storm was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm Sunday morning as it made landfall in eastern Long Island and southern New England. Sustained winds of up to 70 miles per hour have been reported.
New York City mayor Bill de Blasio declared a state of emergency Saturday and similar warnings were issued in Boston, Connecticut and Rhode Island. On Friday, a superstar-laden concert in Central Park headlined by Bruce Springsteen was cut short due to severe weather.
Here's a list of sporting events affected by Tropical Storm Henri:
New York Liberty vs. Los Angeles Sparks
The WNBA game set for Sunday at 2 p.m. ET will continue as scheduled, only without fans and media in attendance. Tickets will be rescheduled or refunded. The game will air live on YES Network and ESPN3.
Additionally, the Ring of Honor Induction Ceremony for Crystal Robinson is postponed. A new date has not been announced.
New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins
The Twins-Yankees game originally scheduled for Sunday will be played Monday, Sept. 13 at 2:05 p.m. ET. Fans can use tickets for Sunday's game on the rescheduled date or exchange them for other regular season Yankees games tickets if available.

Boston Red Sox vs. Texas Rangers
The Rangers-Red Sox game Sunday at Fenway Park was postponed and will be played Monday at 1:10 p.m. ET. Tickets for the original date and time will be honored.
Northern Trust final round
The final round and trophy presentation of the Northern Trust at Liberty National in New York will be played Monday. Competition will start no earlier than 7:30 a.m., with tee times to be announced Sunday afternoon.
Round three was played Saturday before much of the tournament's infrastructure was taken down in preparation for the storm. Monday's round will be played in threesomes and on both tees to move as quickly as possible.
