The BNP Paribas Open will introduce what is being described as a new and improved retail and food experience when the world-renowned tennis tournament returns to Indian Wells in March.

The tournament, which will run March 6-19 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, has partnered with Legends, a global merchanidising company, to upgrade the site’s retail offerings. Legends has experience operating on-site retail at major events such as the Super Bowl, PGA Championships and Sofi Stadium.

The tournament will also introduce Pink’s Hot Dogs, the legendary Hollywood joint, and Lionel’s Fountain, from renowned Chef Christian Page, to fans at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Pink’s will operate out of Stadium 2 and Lionel’s Fountain will be located at Stadium 1, near Stadium Plaza.

“The 2023 edition of Tennis Paradise is shaping up to be the best one yet,” Tournament Director Tommy Haas said. “With a completely revamped retail experience, a host of new fan activations and events, and of course — the best tennis players in the world competing for the title, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome fans to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden this March.”

Additions and upgrades to the tournament are not new. The BNP Paribas Open has built a reputation among players and fans for its aggressive ahead-of-the-curve mentality among the world’s top tennis tournaments.

This year’s changes come after ayears of only subtle changes and upgrades following a major site upgrades from 2017-18 that included a major, $60 million stadium renovation, the addition of 62 palm trees throughout the grounds, the addition of floral installations, pavers, plants and other greenery throughout the site.
