Bills’ Micah Hyde named second-team All-Pro

Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde was not named a 2021 Pro Bowler.

No longer a problem anymore.

Along with his secondary partner Jordan Poyer, Hyde was named to the NFL’s 2021 All-Pro team on Friday. Poyer earned first-team honors while Hyde ended up as a second-team All-Pro selection via the Associated Press.

Overall, Hyde earned 10 first-team votes. Poyer and Hyde are Buffalo’s lone two All-Pro players this season.

In 2020, wide receiver Stefon Diggs was the Bills’ lone first-teamer. Last year Buffalo have more second-teamers though, four in total.

Those were quarterback Josh Allen, cornerback Tre’Davious White, kick returner Andre Roberts and wide receiver Cole Beasley.

In 2021, Hyde had five interceptions, 10 passes defended, two fumble recoveries, one sack, with 74 tackles included four for loss.

Hyde also scored a defensive touchdown off an interception.
