SEANA SMITH: We're gonna get to some breaking news. 13F filings are out. Julia La Roche is joining us now with more on this. Julia.

JULIA LA ROCHE: Yeah, Seana. Well, it is 13F season, 45 days after the end of the quarter. So we're looking for those second-quarter stock moves from some of the biggest investors, including Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway-- actually some really interesting stuff, Seana.

I'm still going through the filing here, but what I'm seeing is a new position in Barrick Gold Corporation, the gold explorer and mining company. It looks like Buffett snapped up about 20 million or so shares, so that's a new position. Of course, keep in mind you got Todd Combs and Ted Weschler, who are the portfolio managers for the famed stock portfolio.

What I'm seeing-- or what I'm not seeing in the filing anymore, rather, is Goldman Sachs. If you go back to the prior filing, he had maybe about 1.7 million shares of Goldman Sachs, the bank. No longer seeing that in the filing. Looks like he exited that position in the quarter.

We're still going through this, so we'll keep you updated, Seana. But a new position here in Barrick Gold, and it looks like he exited Goldman Sachs. Seana.

SEANA SMITH: Gold here moving up after hours was certainly interesting here, especially, Julia, like you point out, his reduction that he's been seeing in some of these bank shares, reducing his stake in JP Morgan and Wells Fargo, in addition to some regional banks as well, so certainly something that we will keep an eye on. Julia, thank you so much for that.
