Bartlett girls beat White Station, will play Arlington for Region 8-4A championship
Despite a slow start, Bartlett was able to hold off White Station 42-30 on Monday night to advance to the Region 8-4A championship game. The Panthers (26-8) also qualify for the sectional round with the win.
The Panthers were in control from the beginning. Though White Station had a 6-1 run in the first quarter to build a three-point lead, it was Bartlett's 8-1 run to end the first half that was the difference. Once the Panthers got a comfortable lead, it didn't waver.

Bartlett's win sets up a fourth matchup between Arlington and Bartlett -- Arlington defeated Collierville in the first region semifinal game at the buzzer. The Tigers have won two straight over Bartlett, winning on Feb. 7 to split the regular season series and Feb. 22 to claim a district championship.
In the last game between these two, the Panthers built a 14-point first quarter lead that Arlington cut into before getting the win.
The winner of Wednesday's game will be the No. 1 seed in Saturday's sectional round. The loser will be the No. 2 seed and play the No. 1 seed from Region 7-4A on Saturday.
