Barkema signs with Bradley: Roland-Story senior to play Division 1 women's basketball

Roland-Story senior Reagan Barkema will officially become a Bradley Brave.

The standout girls' basketball player signed to play Division 1 women's basketball at Bradley Nov. 10 at Roland-Story High School in Story City.

"Reagan is an accomplished three-sport athlete in her time here at Roland-Story and is an extremely hard worker," Roland-Story Athletic Director Brian Peterson said. "Reagan is a great example of a student-athlete and Roland-Story is extremely proud of her as she finishes her senior year and transitions to Bradley University."

Barkema is a three-time all-state selection in Class 3A. She helped Roland-Story reach the state tournament both as a freshman and junior and the Norse went 55-15 during her first three years in the program.

Last year Barkema averaged 14.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 steals.
