Balistreri's Pizza opens takeout-focused, express location in New Berlin
A new Balistreri's Pizza restaurant just opened up at 4915 S. Moorland Road in New Berlin.
On July 6, Balistreri's "soft opened" its second location, co-owner Pietro Balistreri said, offering pizzas and garlic bread. The full menu, including subs and salads, should be available by July 14, he said.
Unlike the location in Wauwatosa, BB's On North, this one will be primarily takeout-focused, Balistreri said. They're also partnering with Uber Eats' delivery service.
"There's no sit-down, no bar," he said, referring to it as an "express" location.
It's still family-owned by brothers Pietro and Mario Balistreri and their Uncle Bob, he said.
"Every neighborhood should have a good pizza place, and hopefully we can be New Berlin's favorite pizza," Balistreri said.
Pietro and Mario are also involved in opening the new Growler's East Tosa, which is taking the place of the former Red Dot bar. That one's aiming to open at the end of the summer.
