Announcers set for Bears vs. Texans Week 3 game
The Chicago Bears (1-1) will host the Houston Texans (0-1-1) on Sunday, where they’re looking to rebound following a brutal loss in Week 2.
Chicago opened the season against two playoff teams from last year, and they’ll face an easier opponent in a winless Texans squad this week. There’s no guaranteed wins in the NFL, but the Bears have a chance to correct some of the mistakes that have limited them through the first two games.
The Bears’ Week 3 game will be televised on CBS at Noon CT. The television commentators for the game are Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), James Lofton (analyst) and Michael Grady (reporter).
For Chicago, they’re coming off a brutal loss to the Green Bay Packers (1-1), where the Bears passing offense was almost non-existent and their run defense gave up more than 175 yards on the ground for the second straight week.
The Texans remain winless following two weeks after tying in the first game and suffering a loss to the Denver Broncos (1-1) in Week 2. Houston’s run game has struggled, which is an opportunity for Chicago’s run defense to rebound.
There’s plenty for the Bears to correct this week, and they have a good chance to do that against the Texans on Sunday.
