Republicans need a new contract with America
With the unprecedented damage being done to the United States by the Biden administration, the American voter needs to go into the important mid-term election year with a plan, and not just wishful thinking. Voting for someone whose campaign is nothing more than slogans is a waste of time, and people need to wake up to that fact. We need to elect people of substance and integrity to public office.
Folks, prepare to vote Republican in the November 8, 2022 general elections. Voting Republican is the essential but not necessarily the sufficient step for keeping America from going off the cliff, and I’ll explain why. You see, not all Republicans are created equal when it comes to policy. In fact, there are many Republicans, especially in states like Pennsylvania, who aren’t that much different than Democrats and seem to seek public office for the sole purpose of filling their pockets. On the other hand, almost all of today’s Democrats support policies that are to the core anti-American and destructive. There is no third choice, so we need to get the right Republicans running next November.
The November general election will determine who is in charge of Congress, governor’s mansions and statehouses beginning in January 2023.
It’s going to take a lot of work and dedication from Republican officeholders to undo and unravel two years of malfeasance in office by Democrats and establishment Republicans, and that’s why we need to get rid of the “business as usual” Republicans and replace them with fire-breathing, steely-eyed constitutional conservatives in the Republican primary election on May 17th, 2022. To do that, Republican voters need to start NOW by evaluating candidates up and down the ballot by challenging them with questions on why they are running and exactly what they will do if elected. In short, we need to make them sign up to a new “contract with America,” much like the one that swept Newt Gingrich and his Republican majority into office in 1994.
In addition to holding them to free-market-based solutions for our Biden-created economic problems, we need each candidate to pledge to do the following:
Replace the current Republican leadership. For instance, in the US Senate, Mitch McConnell needs to go. Although we are eternally grateful to him for keeping the corrupt Merrick Garland off the Supreme Court, he needs to step aside for a more dynamic leader. In the House, replace Kevin McCarthy with Rep. Jim Jordan.
In the US Senate, draw the line on future Biden appointees, especially judges. He can’t be allowed to leave behind a corrupt judicial legacy like Barack Obama’s.
In Congress as a whole, hold investigations and get to the bottom of the corruption that led to the phony Russian Collusion witch hunt, as well as the current sham January 6th investigation. Don’t just investigate, produce criminal referrals. If they aren’t prosecuted under Biden, they will be when Trump or DeSantis take office in January 2025. People such as John Brennan, James Comey and Hillary Clinton all need to be wearing orange jumpsuits.
Taking a page from the Democrat playbook, immediately vote to censure and remove Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rashida Tlaib (MI) from all committee assignments for their frequent anti-Semitic remarks. Do the same with Rep. Eric Swalwell, who is clearly compromised due to his illicit relationship with a Chinese spy. While we’re at it, take a good look at Rep. Adam Schiff, who in addition to a lengthy list of lies during the Russia Hoax, has been caught fabricating evidence during the January 6th sham investigation.
Clean house in the FBI, CIA, and the Department of Defense, replacing careerists with resolute and patriotic professionals. The “woke” nonsense must go.
Investigate the corrupt Biden family and potential ties between Hunter Biden’s corrupt dealings and his father. If the results lead to an impeachment, so be it.
These items are just a start, but the old Republican refrain of “let bygones be bygones” won’t work anymore. To the current Republican leaders who stand in the way of getting the job done, let me quote Gen George Patton: “Lead me, follow me, or get the hell out of my way!”
