The school's football success has been a rallying cry for the city, with not only the school community getting behind the team but also the overall community as a whole.

Grisham said she has been thrilled to see the community have a focus on a positive aspect of life amid negative things, such as the COVID-19 pandemic's continued presence in the area.

"We are very excited," Grisham said. "This really put a huge bright side on, of coursem the school but it's bled over into the community as a whole. It's brought our whole community together in this football season and during the holiday season.

"We've seen that it has brought out the good and people are coming out with well wishes."
