Achievers: Mustang teachers and staff receive over $19,000 in grants

The Mustang Public School Foundation recently awarded 20 grants totaling $19,357.18 to Mustang teachers and staff members.

Grant winners and their projects included:

Chelsea Hinkle, $738.86, Helping Kids Understand Empathy; Jennifer Young, $1,500, Sensory Paths; Julie Atwood and Pam Shade, $580.54, Social/Emotional Learning Library (SELL); Jessica Tracy, $600, Building a Thinking MATH Classroom; Amy Schachle, $1,109.65, Decimals....They have a point; Amanda Haney, $600.00 Kindness Bench; Michael Barrick and Amanda Haney, $898, Cooking Up Creative Lessons; Brandy Hackett, $800, Classroom Transformation Kits; Meg Corn, $1,496.82, Assistive Technology Variety; Breanne George, $839, Pottery Wheel with a Purpose; Jason Hasty, $850.40, Hole in ONE!; and Shereen Rasor, $497.82, Math Motivators;
