With many friends and families once again gathering for a Thanksgiving meal, cooking is top of mind in some homes — whether it be a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings or something less conventional.

However, if cooking isn't your thing, here are four restaurants serving Thanksgiving meals — either in person or catered.

And just like at home, you can get the old-fashioned feast many associate with Thanksgiving, complete with turkey, side dishes, desserts and stuffing. Or you can add a bit of flare to the holiday fare, from seafood to steak with a Cape Verdean twist or Southern comfort food.

Luanda's Restaurant and Lounge

Luanda Restaurant & Lounge at 453 Centre St. in Brockton, will be open Thanksgiving day from 9 a.m. to noon.

The restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving day from 9 a.m. to noon serving their signature chicken and nata dish, steak (bife/bitoque) sirloin marinated and tenderized with any choice of sauce, grilled chicken breast (peito entrada) with nata and half a grilled chicken (meio churrasco) with Verde sauce. The main courses come with your choice of premium sides.

The restaurant also has homemade soup, pasta dishes smothered in nata sauce (cream sauce), and island-inspired appetizers from fried yuka and pork to deep fried chicken and french fries.

Brack's Grille and Tap

Brack's Grille and Tap, located at 1280 Belmont St. Brockton, has a Thanksgiving day all-you-can-eat buffet special. Children 12 and under can eat for $13.99 and adults for $24.99.

The buffet includes turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, corn, Tuscan mac 'n cheese, salad and assorted desserts. Plus, every guest leaves with a traditional cobbler sandwich. The hours of operation on Thanksgiving day are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Stoneforge Grill

Stoneforge Grill at 10 Roosevelt Circle in Easton incorporates a vibrant Thanksgiving menu with classic Thanksgiving dishes of roasted turkey breast, homestyle stuffing, cranberry sauce, giblet gravy and garlic mashed potatoes.

If your taste buds want to go in untraditional route, Stoneforge offers cranberry rum salmon, maple leaf duck cassoulet, cast Iron Swedish turkey meatballs and more. The restaurant is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Southern Comfort

Southern Comfort Bar and Grill, located at 320 West Center St. West Bridgewater, is accepting catering orders until Nov 24. The Thanksgiving meals can feed up to 20 people and range from $399 to $899.

Southern Comfort offers your choice of traditional turkey, glazed ham or deep-fried turkey, with your choice of nine homestyle sides, including bubbling mac 'n cheese, collard greens, candied yams, potato salad and black-eyed peas. Hours of operations are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
