2024 four-star wide receiver Amari Jefferson names top schools
The Georgia Bulldogs offered a scholarship to class of 2024 wide receiver Amari Jefferson in July of 2022.
Out of the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jefferson ranks as the nation’s No. 341 overall player, No. 32 athlete and No. 5 player in Tennessee.
Jefferson tweeted on Tuesday that his top 12 schools are Georgia, Alabama, Miami, Tennessee, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Colorado and Penn State.
The 6-foot-1, 195 pound prospect explained what he likes about Georgia when talking to Rivals.com.
“The first school to really recruit me hard and make me a priority,” Jefferson told Rivals. “They have been excellent to me. Kirby (Smart) watching my game on a Friday night before his team played Auburn on Saturday really stood out to me.”
Jefferson took a recent visit to Athens, per his Twitter account:

According to 247Sports, Jefferson plans to visit Athens again on June 16. He also reportedly set a visit to Alabama on June 9.
Jefferson spoke with Rivals regarding to Alabama and Nick Saban:
“Nick Saban believes in my ability and offered me himself in his office. Hearing that from the GOAT carries a lot of weight.”
