Ever since the world changed due to COVID-19, certain products have been in high demand. Along with items such as Clorox wipes, bikes, pool floats, and patio furniture, many comfortable clothing items have been sold out online. Pajamas have been one of the more popular items people are shopping for—and I understand why. After years of not owning a single pair of pajamas, I rediscovered the joy of them while quarantined. I bought a pair because I was desperate for something to signal the change from day to night, as my nighttime clothing (yoga pants) had become my daytime uniform. Pajamas helped.

The set I bought and love is Nordstrom's Moonlight Dream Short Pajamas, and I've been waiting for this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to arrive so I could get my hands on another pair. Luckily, there are a good number of pajama deals at this year's sale, including a discount on my very favorite pair (and its siblings—there are different variations of it!). The only issue is that pajamas are already selling out. Early access to the sale has been open to top cardholders for a few days now, but the pre-sale opens to all cardholders on Thursday, August 13th at 930am. If you're a proud Nordy Club member, be sure to order what you want before it goes out of stock. The good news, however, is that as people inevitably return items, inventory will rebound. As I said above, I love this pajama set! It's lightweight enough for summer, stylish, and whether I'm wearing it to bed or while lounging on the couch, it's always comfortable. The menswear-inspired style of the pajamas is very trendy, and other brands sell similar versions for double and triple the price. The quality of the Nordstrom brand pajamas is great for the price—especially at a discount. I just purchased a similar pair from Target, and although they are around the same price, the Nordstrom ones are a bit lighter and more comfortable.

2. Nordstrom Moonlight Dream Sleep Shirt

Ever since I got the short pajamas, I've been waiting to buy the sleep shirt version. It's another popular item among customers, and I know it would get a lot of use from someone like me who strongly dislikes pants.

3. Nordstrom Moonlight Dream Pajamas

These are the signature version of the Moonlight Dream Pajamas collection. With thousands of rave reviews from customers, and the same quality fabric and fit as the short set, these are a safe purchase. 4. Nordstrom Moonlight Dream Crop Pajamas

New this year is a cropped version of these glorious pajamas. While I have yet to try them, they are arriving at my apartment tomorrow, and I will report back with an update. However, if they fit similarly to the other styles and are a great length for short people, they will be a win. Clothing fits everyone differently though, so ideally, one must order and try them on to find out.

5. Nordstrom Moonlight Dream Dolman Night Shirt

Yes, another pair of Nordstrom brand pajamas, but they're just that good! This item is set to arrive at my doorstep soon, so I cannot comment on its quality just yet, but I can tell you that it has 5 stars from 41 reviews, and if it fits just as well as the short pajamas, I will rave about it for months to come. Before my journey into the world of adult pajamas, I wore (and still wear because, uh, I have only two pairs of pajamas) long, oversized shirts. This is basically a long, oversized shirt, but it's made of comfortable material. Not to mention, it's a t-shirt, which is essential for surviving hot and humid nights.

6. BP. Cozy Top and Jogger Pants

Matching loungewear sets have been a thing for a while, but they became wildly popular when people began purchasing comfortable outfits earlier this year to wear while stuck at home. The high demand led to limited inventory for loungewear sets at most retailers, no matter the price (some popular sets retail at over $300). These new sets (that already have over 100 great reviews) are selling out already, but you can still get your hands on a few patterns and sizes. While these are more loungewear, they are comfortable enough to double as pajamas, too. And at $25 for each item, the discounted price is a steal.

7. PJ Salvage Tank & Shorts Pajamas

I purchased PJ Salvage loungewear a few months ago and love the comfortable material of the tops and jogger pants. While I can't speak for this set, and I can't point to reviews for it since it's a new item, shoppers have been purchasing them. The regular sizes have all sold out as of right now (inventory is always becoming available, though, so feel free to check if it's available in your size), but there are still a limited number of plus size sets still available.

8. Honeydew Intimates Honeydew Sun Soaker Lounge Set

This short pajama set also has limited sizes left in its three styles, and for good reason. They are adorable. I have never personally owned anything from Honeydew Intimates, but I have tried on items for the brand and found them extremely soft and comfortable.

9. BP. All Day Tee

If you're more of a separates person, or you could use a new lounge shirt to go with joggers (or new pajama pants), this t-shirt from BP. is a solid option. At under $12, you're buying something you'll likely wear all the time, especially since we'll likely be staying home a lot more in the months to come. The top has 4 stars from 51 reviews, and I can tell you more about it when it arrives at my apartment this week.

10. Giraffe at Home Robes

While I do not have experience with Giraffe at Home robes, I can tell you that the Giraffe at Home baby blanket is amazingly soft and high quality. Each robe on sale has great reviews with between a 4 and 4.5-star rating. They could make a great investment if you've been in the market for a comfortable robe to wear at home, and while it is early, this could also make a great holiday gift for a loved one. The Chenille Robe is more casual and less pricey compared to the others. The Faux Fur & Satin robes are much more luxurious, which isn't surprising, as they cost more money. The popular Giraffe at Home blanket is more comparable to the luxury robes.
